Like many tourist destinations in the Mekong Delta, on the occasion of the grand ceremony of April 30 this year, Tra Su Melaleuca Eco-tourism Site, Tinh Bien Town, An Giang Province (DDLSTRTTS) organizes many attractive programs to bring visitors new and meaningful experiences.
This year's new experience in the cajuput forest is to check in with the "lineage" of the tank number 390 that crashed into the gate of Dinh Doc Lap on April 30, 1975 .

The original 390 tank is on display in Hanoi, while many people in An Giang and the Mekong Delta also want to admire this tank, especially on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Therefore, DDSTLRTTS (An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company, Sao Mai Group) launched the 390 tank model, promising to bring an interesting experience.
Mr. Truong Vinh Thanh - Deputy General Director of Sao Mai Group - the unit - said: "We used natural bamboo to simulate the legendary image of the 390 tank - the car that crashed into the gate of the Imperial Citadel at noon on April 30".

The tank is quite large, with a length of 4.8m, a width of 2.0m, a height of 1.7m, a sturdy structure made from 180 natural bamboo trees with a total weight of 1.7 tons. The details are elaborately invested, meticulously arranged, while ensuring compliance with the original.
According to Mr. Thanh, bamboo tanks are made of bamboo - a rustic material, close to the majority of people in the Mekong Delta and environmentally friendly compared to other materials such as plastic, metal, etc. bamboo also symbolizes the spirit of solidarity, the resilient vitality and the indomitable spirit of the nation against all factors from natural disasters to foreign forces...
The legendary tank 390 model is located next to the area known as the "puppet city", with thousands of birds symbolizing the will and aspiration for peace.
