Currently, the pagoda still preserves 864 woodblocks including kinh, sach, luat, luan, so, cham, cham... belonging to about 26 main books, mainly engraved during the Nguyen Dynasty, partly during the Le Dynasty (17th - 18th centuries).
The village carpentry is made from plantain wood, elaborately and elaborately handcrafted by Thanh Lieu and Lieu Trang villagers (now in Tan Hung ward, Hai Phong). The engravings on the original woodblock are Han, Nom, Phan or trien, carved back to print the gilded version; many versions are also decorated with lotus flowers, dragons, phoenixes, Buddhist motifs, expressing high artistic and aesthetic standards.
Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung said that in 1990, Tram Gian Pagoda was ranked as a national monument. The recognition as a National Treasure continues to affirm the great value of the relic.
He requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the People's Committee of An Phu commune to guide, protect and promote the value of Rural Development, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and in accordance with local actual conditions.
