The district is restoring and embellishing the special national architectural and artistic relics of Hoanh Son communal house, Nha Thanh communal house relic in Khanh Son commune, and Dong Vien communal house relic in Trung Phuc Cuong commune.
In the past 6 years, the district has newly established 8 Vi and Giam Nghe Tinh Folk Song Clubs in the communes of Nam Thai, Nam Giang, Nam Nghia, Nam Linh, Hong Long, Nam Hung, Nam Xuan and 1 Huong Sen Club at the District Cultural, Sports and Communications Center, bringing the total number of Vi and Giam Nghe Tinh Folk Song Clubs to 17/19 communes and towns with Clubs.
Build many eco-tourism spots

According to the assessment, up to now, Nam Dan district has 40/42 contents meeting the standards of a model new rural district in terms of "Culture associated with tourism".
Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De said that in the coming time, the province will focus on directing Nam Dan district to implement solutions to achieve the prescribed criteria; complete the dossier to submit for appraisal and recognition of Nam Dan district meeting advanced NTM standards in 2024 and deploy the dossier to submit for recognition of the district meeting model NTM standards in 2025.
Along with that, continue to comprehensively develop the economic sector associated with restructuring the agricultural sector, effectively implement the One Commune One Product program, and enhance the value of products serving tourism development.
