The high number of visitors has caused some homestays and accommodation establishments in highland tourist destinations to become fully booked.
Many units are urgently renovating the premises, cleaning rooms, adding personnel and preparing necessary conditions, ready to welcome the expected number of guests to continue to increase in the coming days.
Mr. Nguyen Son Tung - Owner of Clay House homestay (Meo Vac commune, Tuyen Quang province) said that from tomorrow, the number of visitors to highland communes will increase.
The facility has more than 20 rooms, from tomorrow it will be fully booked. Accommodation facilities around the area will also be fully booked at least for the next 2 days.
Domestic tourists usually stay for 2 days, while foreign tourists, as a habit, only stay for 1 night and then continue to experience," Mr. Tung said.
Also according to Mr. Tung, the room rates for holidays at the grassroots level remain the same as on normal days, the price ranges from 800,000 VND to 1.2 million VND depending on the type of room.
To prepare to welcome the increased number of guests, homestays have cleaned up rooms and decorated flags to celebrate National Day September 2nd. This is an opportunity to promote the image of Tuyen Quang tourism to domestic and international tourists.
Owning 12 rooms - Mr. Nung Thanh San - Owner of Meo Vac Ethnic homestay said that tourists have booked rooms fully from September 30 to 2.
The price level is still maintained from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND. Today is the time for customers to move to highland communes, from tomorrow it will be peak season.
The facilities also try to prepare very carefully to bring a beautiful image in the eyes of tourists," Mr. San said.
Full rooms during the holidays also appeared at some homestays and accommodation establishments in Dong Van, Meo Vac, and Quan Ba communes. With long holidays, tourists can enjoy the unique experiences of the rocky plateau.
On August 29th, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Chu Minh Quang - Deputy Head of the Management Board of H'Mong Pa Vi Community Culture and Tourism Village said that during the September 2nd holiday and the upcoming Buckwheat Flower Festival, the unit requests facilities to prepare carefully and bring comfort to tourists.
