2024 marks the strong development of Ninh Binh tourism industry with many positive results.
The whole Ninh Binh province welcomed over 8.7 million tourists, exceeding the plan by 16%, up 30% compared to 2023. Of which, international visitors reached 1.5 million, the highest number ever achieved by the Ninh Binh tourism industry. Revenue from tourism reached over 9,100 billion VND, up 40.15% compared to 2023.
Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, said that in 2024, Ninh Binh's image will continue to be strongly marked on the national and international tourism map. Ninh Binh has become one of the top 10 destinations in Vietnam and received many prestigious awards from international organizations and websites.
Ninh Binh tourism is in the Top 10 most attractive experiences in 2024, Top 10 friendliest destinations in the world; Top 10 world wonders for those who don't like crowds. In particular, the World Cultural and Natural Heritage - Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was voted as "the most influential destination in the world".
In 2024, tourism promotion activities will continue to be given special attention and promoted on digital platforms. Thereby, helping Ninh Binh tourism attract many international tourists, especially from key tourism markets such as Europe, North America, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan (China).
In addition, successfully organized national and international cultural and sporting events have created opportunities for tourists to experience and explore culture, while contributing to promoting and spreading the image and tourism brand of Ninh Binh on the world tourism map.
In 2025, Ninh Binh province's tourism industry aims to welcome over 9.1 million tourists to Ninh Binh, including 2 million international visitors. Revenue is estimated to reach over 10,000 billion VND.
