Previously, in June 2026, during a inspection of the current status of Soi Sim beach at the request of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board said that they would try to put this beach into operation in July 2026.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, tourist boat owners in Ha Long Bay said that it is necessary to finalize the schedule accurately because the plan to open this beach has been delayed many times, while tourists are always wondering because in the bay entrance ticket there is a stop on Soi Sim island but the boat is not allowed to enter.
The plan to open Soi Sim beach is heating up again after this beach was nominated by a US-based beach ranking organization as one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world in the annual Global Beach Handbook "Corona Beach 100 Years 2026".
