According to information from Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, all items are currently prepared for the Vesak Festival at Ba Den Mountain. At Tay Bo Da Son Square - where the world peace praying candle burning ceremony will take place, the flags were decorated brilliantly to welcome more than 2,000 Vesak delegates from all over the world.

The campus of the Bo De Vien World - where the ceremony of planting 108 Bo Bo trees by the monks and leaders of Buddhist delegations from 80 countries will take place also has a completely new look. Thousands of Buddhist flags are hung high, shaping a giant hat that is a symbol of Vietnam, creating a unique highlight for the Bo culvert garden.

Here, 108 badminton trees invited from the Dao Trang Bocado (India) will be planted, with each tree being numbered separately for each Buddhist delegation from different countries. In Buddhist culture, the number 108 symbolizes 108 human hardships, and the practice of the Doctrine to overcome 108 hardships to get to the shore to peace.
The planting of 108 bonsai trees at Ba Den Mountain has a profound meaning in planting seeds of enlightenment, nurturing compassion and intelligence, so that Buddhists and tourists can find peace and harmony right on the top of the sacred mountain.
The first floor of the Buddhist Exhibition Center - which will honor the merits of Buddha Shakyamuni who was brought back from India - is also decorated and is ready to welcome thousands of Buddhists and visitors to worship the treasures of world Buddhism.
This exhibition space is 534m2 wide, displaying 83 relics and 83 Buddhist works of art, with the focus being the statue of Quan Am with thousands of eyes and thousands of hands. The Buddha's protection will be venerated and strictly protected at the center of the exhibition space, and will begin to open to Buddhists to worship from May 8 to 13, 2025.
"The Buddha's hand is a treasure of the world that has been offered to Vietnam for the first time, and many people hope to have the opportunity to celebrate this occasion. Therefore, to keep the ceremony solemn during the festival, we hope that Buddhists and visitors will not bring offerings, do not take photos, keep order and line up in order during the festival...
We also hope that Buddhists and tourists will receive many blessings on this important holiday - Ms. Dao Thi Viet, Deputy Director of Sun World Ba Den Mountain said.
Buddha's relics are in a container discovered by British archaeologist William Claxon Peppe in 1898 from the foundation of a ruins in piprahwa, Uttar Pradesh state. After decoding the characters on the lid of the bottle, it was determined that this was the original charm of the Buddha.
The discovery of piprahwa's amnesty container has created a major turning point in Buddhist history, proving that Buddha Shakyamuni is a real figure in history, something that people had previously doubted and denied.
According to the plan, on 8.5 is the last day of the Vesak 2025 ceremony, thousands of delegates from more than 80 countries and territories around the world will move to Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh). Here, a series of great spiritual rituals will be organized by the UN UN International Organization Committee (ICDV) and the Vietnam Buddhist Church to be aimed at the theme of the Great Ceremony - "Harmony and include human dignity: Buddhist wisdom for world peace and sustainable development".
The event made Ba Den Mountain a pilgrimage destination for the world, and contributed to spreading the image of the country and people of Vietnam who love peace.
