On April 28 and 29, the Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang) Interdisciplinary Inspection Team conducted a large-scale inspection of compliance with the law in the tourism sector for organizations and individuals doing tourism services in the area.
The inspection aims to ensure the safety of tourists when visiting and relaxing on Phu Quoc pearl island during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
The delegation inspected the implementation of administrative procedures according to state regulations in tourism business activities, business conditions of tourism accommodation service establishments, travel services, and travel agents.
Check road tourism passenger transport activities and inland waterway passenger transport activities. Check the quality and quantity of equipment for tourism activities; rescue work, on-site rescue vehicles; timely response plans when there are emergency situations.
In addition, inspect tourism products and services that may affect the lives and health of tourists and other tourism services; implementing regulations on working conditions for tour guides.
Through this inspection, it is necessary to detect and strictly handle violations, resolutely prevent illegal tourism service business, and ensure the safety of tourists.
At the same time, the inspection also aims to propagate and remind collectives and individuals doing business in the tourism sector, raise their responsibility, comply with the provisions of State law; contribute to building a safe, friendly and quality Phu Quoc tourism environment. Ensuring safety for domestic and foreign tourists traveling locally during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
