Phuc Son Pagoda, also known as Phuc Son Pagoda, was built in 1680 under the Le Dynasty. The pagoda is located in the middle of a majestic, poetic natural scene, surrounded by lush green forests and the overlapping mountain range of the royal poinciana.
After many restorations, the pagoda still retains traditional architectural features imbued with the identity of Vietnamese Buddhism. The works in the pagoda such as the three-compass, bell tower, ancestral house... are all decorated harmoniously, expressing the skillful combination of spiritual elements and ancient architectural art. In particular, Buddha statues and reliefs are elaborately carved, demonstrating the sophisticated sculpture of ancient artisans.
In addition to its cultural and architectural values, Phuc Son Pagoda is also a place that preserves many historical heritages and folk traditions associated with the land of Tan Yen. According to legend, the Phuong Hoang mountain where the pagoda is located is very sacred, and was once a place for monks to practice law.

During the resistance war against France and the US, Phuc Son Pagoda was a place to discuss plans for patrols, as a hospital and a shelter for the army and people. In 2009, the Phuc Son Pagoda relic cluster and Ngo Xa communal house were ranked as provincial-level historical and cultural relics.
Every year, on major holidays such as the full moon of the first lunar month or Vu Lan festival, the pagoda organizes many unique religious activities, attracting a large number of Buddhists and tourists.
People who come to worship and worship the Buddha's benefits at Phuc Son Pagoda must strictly comply with the provisions of the law, maintain traffic order and safety and follow the instructions of the authorities. People, Buddhists and tourists when traveling through Phuc Son Pagoda should proactively choose the most suitable route to avoid congestion.
After the restoration period at Phuc Son Pagoda (Bac Giang), it is expected that the Buddha's protection will be led and honored at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province from May 25 to 28.
