On June 6 (local time), in the capital Bo-ruc-xen ( Kingdom of Belgium), the delegation of Quang Binh province led by Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - participated in a series of investment promotion and tourism promotion activities within the framework of the Vietnam Local Promotion Program in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium.
The program was organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in other countries and the People's Committees of Quang Binh, Bac Lieu, Vinh Long, Thua Thien Hue and Phu Yen provinces.
During the working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium - Vietnamese Delegation to the European Union, Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam introduced the potential, advantages and development orientations of Quang Binh, emphasizing priority areas to attract investment such as renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, eco-tourism, digital transformation and trade.
He proposed that the Embassy support the province in connecting strategic partners and European businesses to promote investment - trade cooperation, as well as bring the image of Quang Binh closer to the international community.
Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao highly appreciated the tourism development potential of Quang Binh and the provinces, affirming his readiness to act as a bridge to support localities in accessing the European market and expanding cooperation in strategic areas.
On the same day, the Working Group attended the Workshop "05 years of implementing the EVFTA Agreement and prospects", with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang, representatives of leaders of ministries, People's Committees of many provinces and cities and European organizations and enterprises.
Here, Quang Binh continues to introduce unique tourism products through publications, videos, QR code documents and participate in meetings and connections with Vietnamese businesses and associations in Europe.
On June 7 (local time), the Quang Binh Provincial Delegation will continue its working program, signing a number of important cooperation memorandums with partners in Europe.
