On August 31, Mr. Pham Van Thang, Chairman of Mang Den Commune People's Committee, said that from August 30 to September 2, Mang Den commune will organize many festivals to stimulate tourism demand. Through the series of activities, the locality wishes to promote the image, cultural identity and tourism potential of Mang Den to a large number of tourists.
The main activities during the holiday are expected to take place from August 30 to September 2, 2026 at Mang Den Market, Mang Den Night Street, Pa Sy Waterfall tourist spot and some other tourist attractions in the area.
Mang Den Street Festival takes place on the morning of September 1st, along National Highway 24, from Nga 5 area at the beginning of the pass to Mang Den Market, with gong performances, xoang dance, folk musical instruments, stilts and costumes.
At Pa Sy waterfall tourist destination, from August 30 to September 1, singing programs, cultural exchanges and traditional instrument performances are organized to serve people and tourists.
Notably, the Food Festival - Mang Den Night Street is scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM on September 1st, introducing many unique local dishes, combined with cultural and artistic exchange activities.
Throughout the period from August 30 to September 2, Mang Den Night Street also organizes cultural and artistic programs with songs, dances, music, gong performances, folk songs, folk dances and many traditional art forms.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Anh, a tourist from Da Nang City, said: "I am very impressed with the festival atmosphere in Mang Den. The sound of gongs, xoang dances and the friendliness of the people give us a very close feeling. Mang Den not only has a cool climate and beautiful scenery but also a very unique culture. During the holidays of National Day September 2nd, the number of passengers booking tickets to Ly Son gradually increased. Through the online ticket sales system, the Quang Ngai Port Authority said that there are about 1,000 - 1,500 passengers going and returning on the Sa Ky - Ly Son route each day.
To serve the increased number of passengers during the 5-day holiday, 8 high-speed trains operating on the route are scheduled to run appropriately. Transport units register a total of 24 trips per day, including both departure and arrival directions. Depending on the actual number of passengers, the train schedule will be adjusted to ensure meeting travel needs and in accordance with operating conditions.
Ms. Vu Thi Thuy - Head of Sa Ky Management and Exploitation Department, Provincial Port Authority (Department of Construction) - said that before the forecast of a high increase in the number of passengers to Ly Son during the National Day holiday, the Port Authority has proactively developed a service plan, strengthened human resources, and coordinated with transport units to prepare vehicles and arrange suitable flight schedules.
According to the People's Committee of Ly Son Special Zone, one of the contents that the special zone especially noted is the listing and sale at the right price. Service business establishments must publicly disclose room rates, service prices, surcharges, promotions as well as refund policies, conditions for canceling or changing room bookings. The Special Zone is also determined not to let the situation of arbitrarily raising prices, soliciting, forcing customers, competing for customers or causing trouble for tourists occur.
