Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has signed and issued Decision 120/2026/QD-UBND on regulations on management, protection and promotion of relic values in the city.
This regulation stipulates the management, protection and promotion of relic values in Hanoi city, including: Inventory, ranking, cancellation of ranking, supplementation, correction of scientific records and adjustment of relic protection areas; management, protection and promotion of relic values; preservation, restoration, and restoration of relics; attaching plaques to commemorate revolutionary and resistance events.
Regulations apply to state agencies, units assigned to manage relics according to decentralization; organizations and individuals who are owners, managers, users of relics or participate in activities related to management, protection, value promotion, preservation, restoration of relics; other relevant organizations and individuals.
In which, Article 12 stipulates the management and use of revenue from relics.
Relic's revenue includes: Relic visit fees according to the provisions of law; legal revenues from activities to protect and promote the value of relics; sponsorships, donations, contributions of domestic and foreign organizations and individuals; other legal revenues in cash and in kind according to the provisions of law.
The management and use of revenue from relics is carried out as follows:
- Revenue from relic visit fees is managed and used according to the provisions of law on fees and charges and regulations of competent authorities.
- Legal revenues from activities to protect and promote the value of relics are managed and used according to the provisions of law.
- Donations, merits, contributions and other socialized sources are received, managed, and used according to the principles of publicity, transparency, for the right purpose, for the right subjects, and in accordance with the law; subject to inspection and supervision by competent state agencies.
The management and use of sponsorships, donations, and contributions shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Finance and relevant legal regulations.
This decision takes effect from September 1, 2026.
