On July 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province informed that before the opening of the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, the Department coordinated with the Newspaper and Radio and Television of Khanh Hoa to officially launch the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Platform at the address: dulichso. khanhhoa. gov. vn.
The platform is built in the direction of a digital data ecosystem, connecting information about destinations, services, culture and festivals in the province, instead of just playing the role of a tourism information portal.
In the initial phase, digitize more than 20 typical tourist destinations, scenic spots and services to serve the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026.
Digitized destinations include: Ba Po Nagar Tower, Tram Huong Tower, Nha Trang beach area and Tran Phu street, 2/4 Square, Tue Tinh Park, Oceanographic Institute, Long Son Pagoda, Ana Marina marina, Do Theater, Nui Church, Hon Chong - Hon Do scenic spot, Tram Trung tourist area, Kenh Ha Lake, Nha Trang Xua and many other famous tourist destinations. The platform also integrates data on Cham tower clusters such as Po Klong Garai, Po Rome, Hoa Lai and the system of facilities directly under the Provincial Museum.
According to the roadmap, data will continue to be expanded, supplementing information about accommodation establishments, travel agencies, restaurants, transportation services, shopping and entertainment throughout the province.
The highlight of the platform is the smart digital tourism map, allowing users to look up locations, information of tourist areas, hotels, restaurants, accommodation establishments, shopping spots and public utilities. The system also supports directions, optimizing travel routes between destinations.
In addition, the platform also integrates 3D virtual reality viewing technology, helping users experience the space of destinations right on their personal devices before choosing a service.
In the near future, the system will continue to be supplemented with destination recognition features, multilingual automatic presentation, supporting tourists to learn about the history, architecture and cultural values of each place.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, to promptly put the platform into operation on time for the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, more than 30 officials, experts and technicians participated in field surveys, 3D data scanning, flycam recording and data processing at more than 20 tourist destinations, relics and scenic spots.
Putting the digital tourism platform into operation is expected to create more official information channels to serve people and tourists, and at the same time contribute to improving the effectiveness of tourism promotion and management and promoting digital transformation of the cultural and tourism industries of Khanh Hoa in the coming time.
