On the first day of the new year, Binh Ngo Tet, Thuan Nam commune organized a synchronized stage dance program to celebrate Ramuwan Tet 2026, attracting a large number of people to participate and cheer.
The program brings many unique art performances, elaborately staged, showing the typical traditional culture of the Cham people.

The highlight is the field dance performance with the participation of hundreds of amateur singers, artisans, and extras from 4 villages Van Lam 1, Van Lam 2, Van Lam 3, Van Lam 4 and students of Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary and Secondary School.
The performances are carefully prepared, combining traditional music and lively performance forms, creating a bustling and warm atmosphere in the first days of the year.
According to a representative of Thuan Nam Commune People's Committee, the program contributes to enriching the spiritual life of people during Ramuwan Tet. This is also a practical activity to preserve and promote the good traditional cultural identity of the Cham people who follow Bani Islam and Islam in the area.
The field dance performance also shows the spirit of community solidarity, the joint efforts of villages and schools in preserving and spreading unique cultural values, contributing to building an increasingly developed grassroots cultural life.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, a tourist from Nha Trang, shared that she was really impressed with the bustling atmosphere and the large participation of local people.
I have heard about Ramuwan Tet of the Cham people, but this is the first time I have directly watched such a large-scale joint performance program.
The performances are elaborately prepared, the costumes are brilliant, and the music is imbued with identity, making me clearly feel the cultural life of the community here," Ms. Mai said.
According to her, the most special thing is the spirit of solidarity when from villages to students all participate in performances. “Not just a cultural program, I feel this is an opportunity for people to preserve tradition together. As a tourist, I feel welcomed and understand more about Cham culture,” she expressed.
This year, the Ramuwan festival of the Cham people coincides with the Lunar New Year, taking place right on the 1st day. Ramuwan festival celebration activities create an intersection between two calendar systems and two cultural spaces.
