A series of competitions and sports exchanges at the 9th Vietnam - Laos - Chinaao film festival in 2025 will take place from December 19-21 with sports imbued with national identity such as: Tennis, shooting, pushing sticks, tug of war...
This year, the Three-Land remaining Riding Festival is hosted by Dien Bien province, the event was also attended by Lai Chau province; Phong-Sa-ly province (Laos) and Jiangcheng district, Pu'er city, Yunnan province (China).


The tournament attracted more than 100 athletes from 4 teams from 3 countries Vietnam - Laos - China. On the first day of competition, athletes competed in the men's cross country team, men's and women's throwing team Vietnam.
With careful preparation and a dedicated competitive spirit, the home team Dien Bien has achieved impressive results.
In the throwing event, male teammates and athletes from Dien Bien province won the first prize, the second prize from the Giang Thanh district team (China), and the Phong-Sa-ly team prize (Laos).


In the women's team event, Dien Bien province's athletes excellently won the first prize with 150 points, Phong-Sa-ly team won the second prize, followed by Giang Thanh and Lai Chau district teams.
In the cross-court competition, Dien Bien won the first prize with a total score of 138, closely followed by Giang Thanh with 136 points, followed by Phong-Sa-ly and Lai Chau.
The festival is not only an opportunity to promote cultural beauty and tourism potential but also has profound diplomatic and popular significance.


The event contributes to building a peaceful, stable and developing border area; further tightening the friendship between the Party committees, authorities and people of the three countries.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu - Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, Rem is also a long-standing traditional cultural beauty of the ethnic groups in Northwest Vietnam, Northern Laos and Southwest China.
