Recorded at the 2-story bus stop in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, evening departures attract quite a lot of tourists. Not only international tourists, many families and domestic tourist groups also choose this product to explore the city when it lights up.
Choosing a double-decker bus to visit Ho Chi Minh City in the evening, Ms. Aniee (a tourist from Australia) was impressed with the brilliant scenery and vibrant life of the city at night.
Not only attracting international tourists, nighttime tourism products also leave many impressions on domestic tourists. Mr. Nguyen Khanh Tho (Tam Dao commune, Phu Tho province) said that the delegation spent time experiencing Ho Chi Minh City at night on a journey to explore the southern provinces.
Our delegation experienced Ho Chi Minh City until 2-3 am. Although it was late at night, the city was still bustling, many activities took place bustlingly. Friendly people, beautiful scenery made the trip leave many impressions" - Mr. Tho said.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is developing many night tourism products such as 2-story buses, river buses, restaurant trains, night streets, art performance programs combined with cuisine and many cultural and entertainment spaces at night.
The diversity of these products contributes to enhancing the experience, extending stay time and increasing the attractiveness of the destination.
To meet the increasingly diverse needs of tourists, travel businesses and localities continue to invest and innovate night tourism products, aiming to build a rich experiential ecosystem for tourists when coming to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, in the first 6 months of 2026, nighttime economic tourism continued to develop strongly, contributing about 30% of the city's total tourism revenue. Many products such as "Saigon - Night Colors", "War Zone Moon", art performance programs, night waterway tours, pedestrian streets and night cultural spaces have made a mark on tourists.
In the coming time, the tourism industry will continue to coordinate with relevant units to promote the effectiveness of existing products, and at the same time, research and develop more cultural, artistic, culinary, shopping and entertainment activities suitable for each region.
The goal is to diversify experiences, extend stays and increase tourist spending. From there, continue to promote the potential of the night economy and improve the competitiveness of Ho Chi Minh City tourism.
