According to the plan to organize Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026, the Tam Coc - Trang An Gold Festival will take place from May 24 - 31 at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area. The festival has many unique cultural and artistic activities to honor the beauty of nature, culture and wet rice civilization in the Northern Delta region.
The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of May 24 with traditional rituals such as the God of Agriculture worshiping ceremony, product procession and folk art program.
The grand procession of products and medicinal plants from 34 provinces and cities with the theme "Gratitude to the God of Agriculture" is one of the most unique and large-scale activities of this year's festival. The ceremony has profound cultural significance, offering to the God of Agriculture all the quintessence of Vietnamese land and sky - from rice grains, fruits to medicinal plants to save people, thereby expressing gratitude to ancestors, gratitude to predecessors, the connection between regions of the country, the spirit of national unity and the aspiration to preserve Vietnamese agricultural civilization that lasts over time.
The highlight of the festival is the space of Tam Coc rice fields in the golden ripening season along with cultural experiences, traditional art performances, local product displays and tours to explore Tam Coc golden season.
The festival is part of the series of activities of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 with the theme "Ninh Binh - Heritage Journey Through Times", contributing to promoting tourism image and attracting tourists to the ancient capital.
