On April 25, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that during the opening of the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival in 2025, in order to limit vehicles, especially trucks and private vehicles to Sam Son City, entering the festival area causing congestion and potential risks of traffic accidents, the Provincial Police will ban roads before, during and after the opening ceremony.
Specific road closures are as follows: From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on April 26, people will not move vehicles into the festival area; minimize the use of personal vehicles to Sam Son City and prohibit trucks from entering Sam Son City.
From 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on April 26, all vehicles are prohibited from moving from Thanh Hoa City to Sam Son City on National Highway 47 and Nam Song Ma Avenue.
According to the People's Committee of Sam Son City, the opening program of the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival 2025 took place on the evening of April 26 at Sam Son Sea Square.
The event will have a special art program with the theme "Sam Son - Aspiration to shine" along with a low-altitude fireworks display. This is an important political and cultural event, opening the vibrant and attractive sea tourism season in Thanh Hoa in 2025.
