Ham Tien Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province is known as a locality with many resorts, accommodation facilities and tourists staying when traveling to Mui Ne. To better control the security and order situation in the area and ensure the safety of people and tourists, on March 13, Ham Tien Ward People's Committee established a Coastal Tourism Safety Team.

This team consists of 31 members led by the Deputy Head of the Ward Police Department, along with 4 local police officers and also has forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, representing tourism establishments along the coast.

This is a rapid response force with the task of directly patrolling and supervising the sea tourism route, promptly detecting and handling violations of the law; fire prevention, fire fighting, and rescue when complicated situations occur. Thereby, contributing to making Ham Tien tourism a safe, friendly and trustworthy destination for tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Nam Long - Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee emphasized: "The coastal tourism safety team is always ready to fight against crime and participate in rescue; meet the aspirations and wishes of people and tourism businesses in the area, determined to build a safe and friendly tourism environment".

favored by nature with a 9-km long coastline and beautiful beaches, Ham Tien ward has been attracting more and more domestic and foreign tourists to visit and relax. Along with the development are challenges in security and order, requiring Ham Tien ward to proactively propose practical and effective solutions, including the establishment of a Coastal Tourism Safety Team to ensure the safety of tourists and the community.
