The Can Tho City Open Sailing Race 2025 officially opened at Tan Dai Phong tourist wharf (Ninh Kieu ward) on December 29. The activity is part of a series of events in response to the Can Tho River Culture Festival, lasting until January 1, 2026.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, with the specific nature of competition on rivers and waters, safety is always prioritized by the Organizing Committee. Rescue and medical forces are deployed regularly along the race route, ready to handle arising situations, ensuring the race takes place safely and effectively.
With the nature of expansion, this year's tournament gathers 8 modern sailboats, with a capacity of 2 people/boat, meeting international standards.
This is an interesting playground, spreading the beauty of Can Tho rivers and waters to domestic and foreign tourists, serving the needs of enjoying the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
