On April 17, in Thuan Hoa district, Hue city, the Historical Science Association coordinated with the Department of Tourism and the Hue City Tourism Association to organize a Scientific Conference with the theme "Hue City Tourism Development Guidelines". 18 presentations by 19 authors are divided into the following contents: Potential for tourism development; Hue tourism in sustainable development strategy.
Speaking at the seminar, PhD. Phan Tien Dung, Chairman of Hue City Historical Science, said that Hue used to be the power center of Dang Trong under the Nguyen Lords, then became the capital of the country under the Tay Son and Nguyen dynasties.
This place preserves the material and spiritual cultural quintessence of a capital in the monarchy, a vivid testament to the horrifying culture - the pinnacle of a unified country. Today, Hue City is in the process of striving to become a major cultural and tourism center of Vietnam and the region.

Hue Citadel - the crystallization of many layers of cultural values and the values of natural landscapes intertwined and accumulated over time. In addition to its core historical significance, the Hue Citadel area also plays an important role in the context of a large urban area seen from economic potential in tourism development with outstanding advantages.
Researching on this topic, Dr. Huynh Thi Anh Van in her speech "Promoting cultural values to build Hue City into a major national and international tourism center" proposed a number of solutions such as, statistics, making a list of households still practicing traditional crafts in the Hue Citadel area and having policies to encourage and motivate job development. Have specific policies and widely publicize them to support young people in vocational training and open production workshops...
Hue is considered a locality with many potentials and advantages in developing spiritual tourism, with a diverse system of religious and belief works such as ancient and ancient temples, Buddhist monuments, Kristal shrines, Tinh Lanh, Mother's shrines, communal houses, etc.

Researching on this topic, MSc. Nguyen Huu Phuc, Hue City Historical Science Association, said that exploiting spiritual and cultural values to develop tourism has become a popular trend, bringing practical results to the local economy and upgrading the value chain for Hue tourism.
Originating from the needs of tourists, spiritual tourism activities have been attracting domestic and foreign tourists to visit, learn about religious architectural works, attend events related to festivals, and practice faith at spiritual establishments in Hue.
