On the evening of April 6, the closing ceremony of the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2025 officially closed a series of seminars, conferences to promote tourism and stimulate tourism.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said that from a unique tourism promotion event of the city, after more than 20 years of formation and development, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival has become a typical and prestigious tourism event nationwide.
Not only a bridge between businesses and consumers, the festival is also a forum for exchange and cooperation, gathering creative ideas, unique products and the spirit of solidarity of the tourism community from all over the country.
According to statistics from participating businesses, after 4 days of the festival (from April 3-6, at September 23 Park), revenue from tour sales, services and tourism products is estimated at more than 100 billion VND. This figure shows a positive signal about the purchasing power and interest of people and tourists in the tourism market in the upcoming summer.

The festival has more than 900 preferential tourism products and services with discounts of up to 45% from travel agencies, accommodation establishments, sightseeing spots and establishments providing food, beverage, health care, and entertainment services that meet the standards to serve tourists.
More than 100 stalls from 41 provinces, cities and 32 travel, transportation enterprises and airlines have attended the festival with many rich and practical activities. Despite the hot weather, the units still strive to maintain continuous operations, creating the best conditions for people and tourists at home and abroad to freely experience and explore special tourism products and services.
The 2025 Tourism Festival helps people easily choose attractive gifts, impressive journeys for the April 30 and May holidays as well as the upcoming summer tourism season.
In particular, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Trade Center in 2025 will have more than 30 tourism service businesses with more than 1,000 job opportunities for workers when participating in recruitment. The activity has connected tourism service businesses that are in need of recruitment with the labor force, student forces of tourism training institutions.
According to the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, the success of this year's festival will continue to spread and promote the city tourism more and more strongly. At the same time, there is more motivation for the organizers to continue expanding the scale and improve the quality of the program for the 22nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2026.
