According to Time Out magazine (UK), Laos is the country with the cheapest travel costs in the world in 2025.

Time Out has released a list of the cheapest countries to travel to in 2025, based on research by online travel planning platform HelloSafe. Laos, Vietnam's neighbor, is at the top of the list. According to Time Out, the cost of traveling in Laos is around $13 per person per day.
