Faced with fluctuations in input costs such as transportation, accommodation and services at destinations, many travel businesses have proactively implemented early solutions to stabilize tour prices during the peak period of April 30 - May 1.

Ms. Le Thuy Nhung - Deputy Director of the Northern Retail Center, Vietravel - said that proactively working with suppliers is a key factor to help businesses control costs.
For peak periods such as April 30 - May 1, we often plan many months in advance, work with partners such as airlines, accommodation and service providers at destinations to reserve large numbers of seats. Pre-booking and early reservation helps businesses control input costs well, limiting the impact of market price fluctuations when entering peak periods," Ms. Nhung shared.
In addition, businesses also proactively optimize product structures to expand choices for customers according to many different budget segments.
In addition to traditional package tours, we are developing more products such as flexible combos, short-day tours, family resort tours, as well as air and land routes with diverse price levels. This helps customers easily choose products that suit their actual needs and affordability," Ms. Nhung said.
Notably, instead of direct discounts, many businesses focus on increasing the value of accompanying services. Tour programs are designed to add benefits such as gifts, service vouchers, experience upgrades or special activities at destinations to increase attractiveness.

Mr. Bui Thanh Tu - Marketing Director of BestPrice Travel Company - said that thanks to early preparation and proactively working with partners, the general level of tour prices during this year's holiday is basically stable.
According to our records, tour prices for April 30 - January 1 in recent years have only increased slightly compared to normal days, at a level that customers can accept. The fact that businesses simultaneously prepare early and reserve service seats in advance helps limit sudden price increases during peak periods," Mr. Tu said.
According to travel businesses, tourism demand during this year's holidays is still maintained at a high level, especially for sea tours, resorts and nearby destinations. Maintaining stable tour prices not only helps stimulate tourism demand but also contributes to ensuring sustainable market development during the peak season.
