The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism organized an introduction program on activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the unit has deployed and built tourism products to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification. These products are well received by people and tourists.
The unit also accompanies travel businesses, hotels, attractions and standard tourism systems to prepare human resources, facilities and service quality.

Many travel agencies introduce a series of cultural and historical tours, from short trips in the inner city to long trips connecting with neighboring provinces.
"All of this is to ensure the satisfaction and impression of people and tourists when coming to Ho Chi Minh City during the April 30 holiday. This is also an opportunity for us to promote the image of the city, retain tourists and make them want to return" - Ms. Anh Hoa said.

From April 20 to June 10, Ho Chi Minh City will implement a large-scale tourism stimulus program with the theme of 50 golden days - Explore a hospitable and vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.
Hundreds of businesses have participated, providing extensive incentives such as discounts on inner-city tours, preferential rooms for 3-star rooms or more, night tour tickets at museums...
In particular, the incentive packages for group visitors, international visitors and visitors coming during the April 30 - May 1 holiday promise to create great attraction for the summer tourism market this year.

Currently, the occupancy rate of hotel rooms in the center of Ho Chi Minh City is 95-100%. Many large 4-5 star hotels are fully booked in the 27.4 - 1.5 period.
Tourists can consider choosing to stay in areas near the center such as District 3, District 5, Binh Thanh District, Phu Nhuan District and Tan Binh District. These are areas with many hotels in diverse segments, with good service quality and reasonable prices.

In order to celebrate the important anniversary, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism launched a tourism promotion campaign with the theme Find your vibes.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City has made films to promote tourism in cinematic colors.
The film is called 50 Flashes, combining adventure, adventure, mystery and fantasy. The film takes the audience on a journey to discover the depth of culture, architecture, cuisine, landscape and people of Ho Chi Minh City through 50 tourism symbols such as Cu Chi Geography, Can Gio Sac Forest...
