On September 1, Mr. Nguyen Bao Tuan - Director of Kim Lien Special National Relic Site said that the unit is organizing a thematic exhibition "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps", serving people and tourists visiting Uncle Ho's hometown on the occasion of National Day September 2.
The exhibition is held at Kim Lien Relic Site, Kim Lien commune, Nghe An province, to introduce to the public the milestones in the life, revolutionary career and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the nation.

The exhibition content includes 3 themes, expressed through a system of 8 art models along with many images, documents, and artifacts, recreating President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities journey from his hometown of Kim Lien to historical milestones of the country.
The exhibition space is designed in chronological order, starting from Kim Lien homeland, where President Ho Chi Minh was born and raised; followed by Hue - a place that nurtured the aspiration to save the country; Nha Rong Wharf - where He left to find a way to save the country; his journey abroad and the day of returning to the Fatherland to lead the revolution.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the model "Autumn of Independence", recreating the victory of the August Revolution and the event on September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Following is the "Aspiration for Unification" model, introducing the journey of struggle to protect independence and national reunification. Many images and documents about the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Geneva Accords, the anti-American resistance war for national salvation and the Great Victory of Spring 1975 were introduced to visitors.
Closing the journey is the "Following in His Footsteps" model, introducing the country's achievements in the cause of renovation and integration, while conveying values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
According to the leader of Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, the exhibition is organized to create an intuitive space for people, especially the younger generation, to access historical documents and better understand the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.
Through this activity, the Relic Site wishes to continue to spread the value of Ho Chi Minh's heritage, educate patriotic traditions, arouse national pride, and at the same time promote the image of President Ho Chi Minh's homeland to people and tourists" - Mr. Nguyen Bao Tuan shared.
