On June 3, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City announced that the 2025 Community Ao Dai Week will open with the art program "Hue Ao Dai" on the evening of June 6 at An Dinh Palace.
Within the framework of the week, there will be many activities such as seminars, promotions, and art performances. Highlights include: space to display traditional ao dai sewing; "Ao Dai qua streets" cycling activities; "Ao Dai ve sau" journey at Truong Thai Mausoleum and King Minh Mang Mausoleum; art program "Cultural Colors" and parade "Viet Phong convergence".
In addition, there are exhibitions and performances of the Diem Phung Thi art-applied Ao Dai collection; "Ao Dai with Phuoc Tich pottery products" performance; a rural market combined with a parade of "Ao Dai ve lai di hoa"; the "Ao Dai - my joy" festival; flower offering and incense offering ceremony at Truong Thai mausoleum; a parade to pay tribute to King Nguyen Phuc Khoat and Emperor Minh Mang.
The week is an activity in response to the Project "Hue - Ao Dai Capital", part of the series of events of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival, aiming to exploit the cultural values of Hue Ao Dai, contributing to building a unique tourism brand.
