To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day May 1, on April 30 and May 1, the main gate of the Can Tho City People's Committee will open to welcome people and tourists inside and outside the city to visit and take souvenir photos.
The City People's Committee campus is spacious, with green landscapes and many typical architectural highlights. The City People's Committee also arranged forces to support and guide people to visit order, ensure security and maintain public hygiene throughout the opening period.
The opening of the main gate welcomes the people to show the spirit of close, friendly and the sharing of the joy of the city government with the community on the occasion of the great ceremony of the country.
In Can Tho, people and tourists can also go to places such as the QK9 Armed Forces Museum (Hoa Binh Avenue, Ninh Kieu District), Kham Lon Monument (Ngo Gia Tu Street, Ninh Kieu District) to visit and take photos.
Earlier, on the evening of April 26, Can Tho City celebrated the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reuniting the country in Song Hau Park (Can Tho City). Shortly thereafter, the art fireworks program created a joyful and excited atmosphere for the people, contributing to improving the spiritual life, national pride, encouraging the people of the city to actively work labor, socio -economic development, construction and defense of the country.
