On February 21 (the 5th day of Tet), the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board coordinated to organize a ceremony to offer calligraphy, tea and water lilies at Mao Dien Temple of Literature (Mao Dien commune, Hai Phong city), opening a series of spring cultural activities imbued with traditional values and the spirit of studiousness.
Opening the ceremony was the ritual of offering calligraphy "Respect teachers and cherish morality" performed by the Mau Tai Village Calligraphy Club. In the ancient space of the Temple of Literature, the calligraphy strokes of dragons flying and phoenixes dancing appear softly and gracefully, showing the talent of the writer, and at the same time sending a profound message about the morality of being human.
Each stroke of handwriting not only carries aesthetic value, but is also a reminder to today's generation about the tradition of respecting virtuous teachers, gratitude to ancestors, preserving the spirit of studiousness and lifelong learning - core values that have nurtured Vietnamese cultural identity.

Continuing the ritual of offering calligraphy is the ritual of offering tea at the beginning of spring. A cup of pure tea is respectfully offered to the elders as a wish to keep the mind bright, the spirit lasting, living uprightly and kindly.
The light tea scent blends with the spring breeze, spreading throughout the ancient temple space, creating a quiet, solemn and deep atmosphere. In that moment, the attendees not only participate in a cultural ritual, but also find peace of mind, inner contemplation amidst the modern pace of life.

The special highlight of the ceremony is the ritual of offering water lilies - a flower symbolizing the nobility, purity, intelligence and temperament of ancient students. Water lilies not only carry the beauty of form, but also contain a philosophy of living towards goodness, towards learning, towards sustainable values.
After the ceremony part, people and tourists move to the space "Village of Students" to admire the "Art Path of Water Lilies" - an exhibition space combining fine arts, ornamental creatures and traditional culture.
This activity contributes to enriching the festival experience, while spreading messages about the spirit of studiousness, the morality of "respecting teachers and valuing morality" and traditional cultural values in contemporary life.
