Ms. Hai Yen (resident of Vung Tau ward) said: "At one point, traveling through Nga Nam, I was stuck for nearly 20 minutes before passing through this area. This summer, the number of visitors to Vung Tau increased sharply, often causing congestion at the weekend," Ms. Yen assessed.

Many hotels and accommodation establishments said they were fully booked during the past weekend. Some places have received full bookings from customers many days before.

Vung Tau Ward Public Service Supply Center said that due to receiving a large number of visitors during the peak tourist season, the sharp increase in vehicles often causes localized congestion on weekends.
