On September 11, the Traffic Police and Order Team of Vung Tau City Police said that they quickly assisted a tourist in finding a motorbike that was stolen during a trip in the locality.
According to initial information, on the evening of September 10, tourist D.T.H.A (born in 2006, residing in Dong Thap) rented a motorbike to go out. When parking the motorbike in the area of Cot Co Park (Bai Sau, Vung Tau City), the lock was broken and stolen.
Tourist H.A quickly reported to the car owner, then the two went to look for him. At around 9pm the same day, they met a patrol team of the Traffic Police and Information Team on duty, so they went to report.
Upon receiving the information, Major Ngo Van Trong and Major Tran Thanh Hai used a motorbike with the victim to follow the GPS device attached to the vehicle to track down the stolen vehicle.
When chasing to the gas station on 3/2 street, the thief abandoned the car and escaped. Finding the vehicle, the Traffic Police force took the victim and the evidence to Ward 10 Police to complete the reporting procedure according to regulations.
Currently, the authorities continue to investigate the incident.
