On October 13, Mr. Pham Xuan Thinh, Director of Cat Tien National Park (VQG) said that recently in India, Cat Tien National Park has just been honored in the Biodiversity Conservation Category.

This is the highest award for continuous efforts in biodiversity conservation, protecting typical tropical forest ecosystems, home to hundreds of rare species.
Next is the Ecotourism Promotion Category. This award recognizes the responsible, friendly and nature-respecting eco-tourism image of Cat Tien National Park - where visitors not only come to explore, but also to understand and love the value of the forest more.

The Destination Governance Category Award honors the sustainable destination governance model, with harmonious coordination between management agencies, communities and stakeholders in preserving and developing eco-tourism.
Finally, the Community Champion Category award recognizes the active participation of the local community, joining hands to preserve and spread the spirit of living in harmony with nature.
According to Mr. Pham Xuan Thinh, Cat Tien National Park is the only unit in Vietnam to be awarded tourism awards from the Asia Eco-tourism Network.

This is not only the pride of the National Park of Cat Tien but also the mark of Vietnam on the international eco-tourism map.
The awards demonstrate the commitment to tourism development associated with nature conservation, for a green and sustainable future of Cat Tien National Park over the years.
In addition to the 4 international awards that have just been honored, in recent times, the National Park has also been honored to receive many prestigious and valuable awards in carrying out the task of preserving Vietnam's biodiversity.

Cat Tien National Park has a total area of nearly 72,000 hectares, and is one of the world's biosphere reserves in Vietnam in the two provinces of Dong Nai and Lam Dong. This place is known as the "common home" of wildlife with high biodiversity.
To date, the National Park has more than 1,700 animal species and more than 1,600 plant species. Among them, there are many rare and endemic species such as: Black-cheeked langurs, silver langurs, black-legged langurs, elephants, rare pangolins, langurs...
