After the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, the city's tourism industry recorded many positive signs when the number of overnight visitors, air passengers and visitors to tourist attractions all increased compared to the same period last year.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of visitors served by accommodation establishments on May 30 is estimated at 91,700, an increase of 17.5% compared to the opening night of DIFF 2025. The city's total room occupancy reached about 65%, of which many coastal and Han River-side hotels were almost fully booked.
The number of visitors and visitors at tourist areas and attractions during the opening of DIFF 2026 also reached more than 145,000, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year. Da Nang International Airport recorded 161 inbound flights on the opening day, an increase of 14% compared to 2025.
The above figures show that the attractiveness of DIFF is not only in fireworks displays but also in creating motivation for a series of tourism, resort and entertainment activities in the city.
In the next competition nights of DIFF 2026, tourists coming to Da Nang, in addition to enjoying fireworks by the Han River, can combine exploring many famous destinations.

My Khe beach, Son Tra peninsula with coastal roads and overhead sightseeing spots continue to be a favorite choice for many tourists in the summer.
In the central area, Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge, Bach Dang pedestrian street and Han River riverside roads are bustling locations in the evening. Han River cruise tours also attract a large number of tourists thanks to bringing a different perspective to admire the city at night.
For long-term tourists, tourist areas such as Ba Na Hills, Than Tai Mountain Hot Springs Park are worth considering options.

From Da Nang, tourists can also easily connect to the Hoi Ancient Town and My Son Temple and Tower Area to experience more unique cultural and historical values of the Central region.
With a series of competition nights lasting until the end of summer and a diverse tourism ecosystem, Da Nang expects to continue to welcome a large number of domestic and international tourists, contributing to maintaining the growth momentum of the tourism industry in 2026.


After the opening night between Da Nang (Vietnam) and China teams, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 will continue to take place on Saturday evenings every week by the Han River.
The second night of competition on June 6th was themed "Heritage" with a competition between Vietnam 2 team (Z121 Vina Pyrotech) and France.
Next, June 13th is the "Culture" night between Japan and Italy; June 20th is the "Creation" theme with the participation of Germany and Macau (China); June 27th is the "Vision" night between Australia and Portugal.
The final night will take place on July 11 with the theme "Da Nang - Connecting Horizons", gathering the two best teams to compete for the championship.
