This is an annual sporting event organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, attracting the participation of many localities in the province.
Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Head of the tournament organizing committee, and representatives of departments, branches and sports units in the province. Mr. Cao Van Chong, on behalf of the organizing committee, presented souvenir flags and sent his best wishes for success to the teams.
This year's tournament brings together 14 football teams (7 men's, 7 women's) from districts and cities in the province. The teams competed in a round-robin format, selecting the top teams to enter the semi-finals and finals. The matches will take place from April 18 to 20 at the Binh Duong Province Multi-purpose Gymnasium.
This year's championship is not only an opportunity for athletes to compete, exchange, and improve their professional qualifications, but also an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
In addition, Binh Duong also organizes a series of other attractive sporting events such as the Half Marathon, Traditional Boat Race, Young Entrepreneurs Sports Festival, ITF J30 Tennis Tournament, ... creating a bustling and vibrant atmosphere during the country's major holidays.
