The event aims to promote and raise public awareness of the important role of physical exercise in health and quality of life, while encouraging all classes of people to build a healthy lifestyle, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, along with many leaders and people from many localities in the province.
Mr. Cao Van Chong delivered a speech reviewing the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Industry and launched the Olympic Running Day for the Health of All People in 2025. He emphasized that this event is not only a sports festival but also an opportunity to improve the spirit of physical exercise, encouraging everyone to participate in physical activities to maintain health and fitness.
Olympic Running Day is a sporting event of great influence, with the goal of promoting the sports movement in the community. Mr. Dang Trung Dung - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, also attending the Launching Ceremony, said that this event contributes to encouraging everyone, from children to the elderly, to participate in physical activities, creating a foundation for a healthy community.
Right after the opening ceremony, more than 1,000 athletes from departments, branches, organizations and people in the province participated in the 1,000m Olympic race.
After the Olympic race, the Organizing Committee will continue to organize the contents of the Bau Bang District Cross Country Race in 2025, with the participation of many athletes from different localities.
Mr. Cao Van Chong also presented souvenir flags to the host unit organizing the Olympic Running Day for the Health of the entire People of Binh Duong province in 2025, while affirming the importance of sports events in improving public health and promoting the sports movement. Olympic Running Day is not only a sporting activity but also has a strong educational value, contributing to changing awareness and creating positive changes in the community.
Along with launching the Olympic Running Day, Bau Bang district also launched the "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" movement in 2025, to promote sustainable development and care for people's lives. The launching ceremony was a great success, bringing practical values in building a healthy, united and developed community.
