The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizing committee and the teams participating in the tournament. Here, the teams have been divided into groups and the competition schedule has been determined. The 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament will take place at Ton Duc Thang University (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper with the professional support of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
The tournament took place from March 22 to March 30, gathering 6 football teams including 2 teams representing Vietnam, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ton Duc Thang University. In addition, the tournament also has the participation of 4 student football teams from Southeast Asian countries: University of Life (Cambodia), Laos University, University of Malaysia and Nanyang University of Technology (Singapore).
The match schedule of the teams was also announced right after the technical meeting, promising to bring exciting and dramatic matches. This is a great opportunity for Vietnamese student football teams to accumulate international competition experience, while improving their professional skills, preparing for domestic tournaments. The tournament not only helps football teams compete and exchange but is also an opportunity to promote the school football movement in the region.
Speaking at the draw ceremony, the representative of the Nanyang University of Technology football team (Singapore) expressed their determination to show their full ability to compete and contribute to sports.
