The final match taking place on the afternoon of March 16 at Ton Duc Thang University (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) is a competition between Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports.
The two teams entered the match at high speed and created dangerous situations. In the 20th minute, Doan Nguyen took advantage of the mistake of the goalkeeper of Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports to score the opening goal 1-0 for the Thanh team.
In the second half, Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports increased the pressure of attack. However, the representative from Thanh Hoa soon doubled the gap thanks to Van Thuc after a beautiful free kick in the 59th minute.
In the 61st minute, the Thanh team was at a disadvantage when player Lam Thanh received a red card and had to leave the field, leaving the team with only 10 players. Taking advantage of the advantage in terms of numbers, Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports scored a goal to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 64th minute thanks to a beautiful free kick by Hai Quan.
In the final minutes, despite the efforts of Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports to attack, the solid defense of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism still stood firm. The match ended with a 2-1 victory for the Thanh team to help them win the championship.
With the championship trophy and a prize money of 300 million VND, the players of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism have concluded their memorable journey in their first participation in the tournament.
Immediately after the domestic tournament, the organizing committee will continue to organize the International Youth Student Football Tournament, taking place from March 22 to March 30.
