According to the organizers shared on July 29, with the theme Timeless Heritage, the exhibition introduced 26 artistic scents inspired by: Vietnamese and world cultural heritage, individual moments that cannot be called by name, human memories that are fading in the modern world. The highlight of the exhibition is the combination of scents and paintings with meaningful messages.



With Living Heritage, there are works and authors: Hue Imperial City Afternoon Lam Thanh Nha, Holy Vestige Huynh Quang Nhat, Tet Vietnam Huynh Do Bao Tam...
With Modern Alchemy, there are works and authors: Erdo John Domjan, Red Song Vuong Tran Trung, Bonfire Nguyen Vo Bich Ngoc, Ave Maria Alexis Nguyen...
With Emotion in Scent, there are works and authors: Languishing - Doan Pham Bao Lam, The Coastal Child Cece Chu, Da Co Nguyen Vinh Dieu, Lodeur de Maman Van Bui...
And Scent Fair is scent artists, including Vietnam, other Asian countries and Australia.



The highlight of the exhibition is the combination of scent and painting. Wutong under the moon is the main scent of Olfactory Odyssey III, inspired by the lacquer painting Mother of bronze under the Moon by artist Lai Thanh Dung. The painting depicts a quiet night on the banks of the Huong River, where the moonlight creates through the blooming fields of corn, reflecting on a lonely boat.
Previously, at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, there was an art performance by Ikebana with Dr. Shoso Shimbo from Japan to Vietnam participating in a flower arrangement on a piano.
The work Ikebana was inspired by the painting "Cotton Corn Under the Moon" and the scent of Wutong under the moon, bringing unforgettable experiences to many art lovers.
In parallel with the exhibition, the Olfactory Odyssey Awards III honored the most outstanding scented compositions, under the assessment of the international jury, including: Huynh Hai Yen - founder of Olfactory Odyssey, Erik Moore, Gary Lap-Kee Chin, Janelle Donnelly, Bernadette Lim.
Four trophies honoring Olfactory Odyssey Awards for authors with the best works:
The Unique Heritage Scent Award: Lam Thanh Nha with the work honoring cultural identity "Hue - Imperial Afternoon".
The Legacy Scent Award: Lo Duc Huy with a composition that connects the "~30" generation.
The Avant-Garde Scent Award: Nguyen Vinh Dieu, with a breakthrough scent, bringing the emotional depth of "Da co".
People's Choice Award: Bui Van with "L'odeur de Maman - Scent of the Mother", received the most votes from visitors.
