Information from Nam Can Tho University, in keeping with the youth of the whole country, volunteer students of the School have crossed the wave to Tho Chau Special Zone (An Giang province) to participate in the "Green Summer" campaign.
Accordingly, the student delegation of Nam Can Tho University coordinated with the Tho Chau Special Forces Group to form a youth force to support the government in operating a 2-level model and providing online public services at the facility.

The campaign is an activity in response to the program launched by the Central Youth Union in 3,321 communes, wards and special zones across the country, aiming to bring digital technology and public services closer to the people.
It is known that in Can Tho, the City Youth Union has coordinated with the An Giang Provincial Youth Union to direct the deployment of special volunteer teams to Tho Chau Special Zone, considered the "wavehead" of the Southwest sea.
At the launching ceremony, students directly supported people to create VNeID electronic identification accounts, register for level 2 identification, access and effectively use online public services. Many people who are working on the digital application for the first time are very satisfied to see that administrative procedures become easier with just a few touches.

Phan Thi Thanh Thao (student of the Faculty of Business Administration - Marketing) expressed: "Although the days here are hard, they are also the most meaningful days of youth, especially when bringing knowledge to the island area where there is still a shortage".
Along with supporting public services, the volunteer team also carries out practical youth projects, contributing to improving community life and spreading the spirit of youth volunteering on remote islands.

Tho Chau Special Zone is one of three special zones of An Giang province. This place has a particularly important position in terms of national defense and security. Tho Chau is very far from the mainland, located in the frontline of the southwestern sea of the Fatherland, where there is the A1 facility according to the sovereignty declaration on the basic route used to calculate the territorial extent in the Vietnamese sea.
