On June 15, the atmosphere in Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam became more vibrant than ever when nearly 200 professional and amateur cycling athletes from all over flocked to participate in the Quang Nam Provincial Club Cycling Race "Towards the Heritage Land" in 2025.
This is a highlight sporting event in the series of activities "Cultural, Sports and Tourism Days - Quang Nam 2025".
The race was organized by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Duy Xuyen District People's Committee and Hoang Hong Khanh Company Limited. The 26km race starts from the Duy Xuyen District Cultural - Sports & Radio - Television Center, ending at My Son Tower - World Cultural Heritage, bearing a strong cultural and sportsistic imprint.
Athletes compete in 3 age groups: 16-40, 41-54 and from 55 years old and above. They come from 25 cycling clubs inside and outside the province such as Da Nang Velo, Hue CYCLING, Giant Anh Quan, UA-Bike Quang Ngai, Lao Bao Cycling, Duong 9 - Xanh Dong Ha Club, and many local units.
From early morning, hundreds of fans stood along the streets to cheer, creating a passionate atmosphere, imbued with grassroots sports.
In addition to trophies, medals and bonuses for individual and collective tournaments, the event is also an opportunity to promote the image of green tourism, associated with sports with the journey to explore the culture and history of Quang Nam.
