The tournament will last until December 5, 2025, including 8 rounds, with 7 regional qualifying rounds and 1 final round, gathering more than 100 teams, nearly 1,500 athletes and about 20,000 spectators at the competition locations.
The qualifying rounds will take place at Dai Nam University, University of Commerce, FPT Polytechnic College, Noi Bai Industrial Park (Soc Son), Tien Lang Stadium (Hai Phong), My Hao Culture - Sports Center (Hung Yen) and Thai Nguyen University of Industry, which will also host the final round and closing ceremony.
The total prize value of the season is up to 540 million VND, along with more than 1.2 billion VND in gifts for the audience and sideline activities such as Rockstar Power Zone, gift-taking check-in area, interactive minigame and lucky draw.
Not only a competition venue, each stop is also a youth festival - where students and young workers can exchange, experience, and spread the spirit of "strength - endurance - solidarity" of the new generation.
The tournament is co-organized by SportPro (VietFootball's community sports development brand) with the Cup and the Vietnam Youth Union, with the main sponsor being Rockstar. This is the first time Vietnam has had a large-scale movement playground dedicated to students, workers and laborers - the core youth forces of society.
With the message "Connecting youth - Maintaining will", the tournament aims to spread the spirit of sports training, living dynamically and connecting the community. tug of war is not only a familiar folk game, but also one of the traditional rituals and games of Vietnam that have been recognized by UNESCO as a Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2015).
The tournament is not only a sports competition, but an opportunity for young people to affirm their will, courage and solidarity. Each pull not only shows physical and tactical strength, but also symbolizes the will, solidarity and belief, the lasting values of Vietnamese culture. The organizing committee hopes that the tournament will become the largest annual grassroots sports activity in the country, contributing to preserving traditional cultural values while raising the level of the tug of war to a symbol of youth in the new era of the nation.
