In the first leg of the Champions League Semi-final, Barcelona faced Inter Milan.
After 90 tense minutes, the two teams drew 3-3. This result means they can only decide the ticket to the final in the return match on May 7.
Among the many stars who shined in this match, midfielder Lamine Yamal still managed to leave his mark. He scored the equalizer 1-1 for the home team, as well as contributing greatly to the game.
The 17-year-old star successfully dribbled the ball 6 times, won 8 challenges and made two important passes.
It is his impressive dribbling ability that makes experts compare Yamal with Messi. Speaking on CBS Sports after the match, Jamie Carragher commented: "Seeing Yamal playing was like watching Messi when he was at his peak."
Thierry Henry goes further in believing that Yamal can surpass Messi in the future: "We can talk about many people who are said to be on the throne, but I was quite surprised that people would think that no one could be better than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Or in my time, people said the same thing about Pele or Diego Maradona... And then Yamal appeared and was challenging those things.
Even Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has special respect for Yamal. He was quoted by Metro: "He is a difficult player to follow. In the last 25 minutes of the first half, Lamine Yamal caused us a lot of problems. I have never seen him in person, but today he impressed me.
For his part, Lamine Yamal refused to compare himself to Messi. He shared before the match: "I don't compare myself to him. I don't think this comparison is meaningful, even more unreasonable when compared to Messi. I will enjoy life and always be myself.
