Designer Eric Moon has chosen bamboo rattan - a long-standing traditional handicraft of Vietnam as the inspiration for the new collection called "Bamboo Wood".
The "Bamboo Wood" collection introduces two ao dai models designed with a delicate combination of elements of bamboo and rattan weaving and traditional costumes.
Designer Eric Moon cleverly applies Tet techniques from cloud threads and bamboo to create elegant ao dai, both preserving traditional beauty and bringing a modern breath.

To create two ao dai in the "Bamboo Wood" collection, designer Eric Moon used 200 meters of fabric, cut into 2,000 small strands and operated them for 300 hours of hard work. The special highlight of the collection is the sleeve and sports hat with the pattern of bamboo and rattan, creating a unique blend with the outfit.
In addition, decorative motifs on Ao Dai, highlighted by the image of storks and lotus flowers - symbols of elegance and peace in Vietnamese culture - are cleverly made on each shirt, bringing a new but still close look.

In particular, Miss Ly Kim Thao is the "muse" in this collection, a perfect example of "Moc tre" with the gentle beauty of the East.
With the "Bamboo Forest" collection, designer Eric Moon hopes to not only honor the beauty of Ao Dai but also serve as a bridge to recall the traditional cultural values that previous generations have preserved.
Thereby, he hopes that Ao Dai will not only be an outfit but will become a vivid symbol of the soul and cultural identity of the nation.
