On the afternoon of July 6, Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association, the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Organizing Committee to survey the routes in the "80-year Journey - For National Security" race.
The race will be held at a tourist area in Tien Thanh ward, Lam Dong province at the end of August.
The race is expected to have 4,000 athletes participating with a length of about 21km through coastal roads and steep roads in tourist areas.
Through the survey of running routes, the units have recorded the current status of infrastructure, intersections, and cross-ings, and at the same time noted areas with potential risks to traffic safety and security and order.
The professional units of Lam Dong Provincial Police also recommended a number of issues that need to be overcome to ensure the safety of the race and the athletes.
The race is not only a sporting event, "80-year journey - For National Security" but also an opportunity to promote the image of Lam Dong sea tourism to tourists.
