Find the champion of Hanoi student futsal tournament in 2024

On the evening of October 22, the final match of the 2024 Hanoi regional student futsal tournament between the Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports and the University of Economics - Technology for Industry took place at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture.

This season, the two teams met in the group stage and the University of Economics - Technology for Industry won with a score of 5-3. Therefore, they are determined to repeat this result once again.

In the final, the University of Economics - Technology for Industry continued to compete with reasonable tactics and excellent fighting spirit. Taking advantage of the opportunity helped coach Nguyen Anh Tuan and his team defeat their opponents 2-1 to win the championship.

This is the second year that the student futsal tournament has been organized regionally with the aim of creating a national futsal playground for students and young people and further promoting this sport.

The tournament took place from October 14 to October 22 with the participation of 12 universities, divided into 4 groups (3 teams each), competing in a round-robin format to calculate rankings, selecting the top 2 teams from each group to compete in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Pham Thanh Sang - Head of the organizing committee of the 2024 Hanoi student futsal tournament said: "The capital Hanoi is an educational training center, gathering a large number of universities and colleges compared to other regions in the country. In recent years, the futsal movement has gradually grown strongly in the school system in this area.

Normally, each school has at least one futsal club that operates regularly. Internal student football tournaments and friendly matches are organized with high frequency and diverse forms and scales.

Therefore, the Organizing Committee believes that this year's Student Futsal tournament has left many new impressions. The enthusiastic reception of the Hanoi student community for this year's tournament is proof. The professionalism and prestige of the tournament is affirmed through the brand of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) - a unit that has been closely associated with and has experience over 8 years of organizing national futsal tournaments."
