This is an important event organized by ITF every two years and Vietnam is honored to host it in Da Nang city. The event promises to be an important highlight this summer for domestic and international tennis coaches.
The conference was attended by Mr. Jonathan Stubbs - ITF development officer for South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Olympic Committee - Chairman of VTF along with other speakers and experts.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky shared: “This is a great opportunity for Vietnam to introduce to the world the friendly image of Vietnamese people as well as promote the scenic spots and charming beauty of the coastal city of Da Nang to international tourists.”
The conference was attended by nearly 200 coaches from 27 countries in Asia. Vietnam alone had nearly 30 participants.
Coaches attending the conference will have the opportunity to interact with 15 world-leading speakers such as Dario Novak (Croatia), Simone Bertino (Italy), David Taylor and Annabel Taylor (Australia), Riaan Kruger, Jonathan Stubbs (ITF).
At the end of the event, coaches will receive a certificate from the ITF.

During the three-day event from 27 to 29 September, the sessions will focus on a range of important tennis issues including technical and tactical development. Speakers will share about the application of advanced technology in coaching as well as psychological methods applied in training and competition.
The event also emphasized the important role of international cooperation in professional training and expertise in tennis in Vietnam.
