Accordingly, 6 athletes of the Lien Quan Mobile category were conferred with the rank of general and 3 athletes of the Mobile Legends category: Bang Bang were conferred with the rank of first-level athlete. These are all athletes who have left many impressions at the 2024 Asian Esports Games.
In addition, 7 Esports units and partners who have made many contributions to the development of the Vietnamese Olympic movement and 11 athletes with excellent competition achievements at major international tournaments in 2024 also received certificates of merit from the Olympic Committee.
Including the first round taking place in early 2025 in Hanoi, a total of 48 athletes/coaches have been awarded certificates of national athletes/coaches.

The total revenue of the Vietnamese Esports industry in 2023 is 5.78 million USD, and it is expected that the market size of the industry will reach 8.73 million USD in 2027.
According to VIRESA, the 33rd SEA Games is scheduled to take place from December 9 to 20, 2025 in Thailand. According to information from the organizing committee, Esports at the 33rd SEA Games will have a total of 4 sports with 6 competition events. At the previous 2 conventions, Vietnamese Esports won a total of 14 medals including 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals.
