Handing over 4 new schools sponsored and implemented by Cargill Cares Fund

On May 12, within the framework of activities towards the 30th birthday in Vietnam, Cargill company announced the completion and handover of the project at 4 new schools sponsored and implemented by the Cargill Cares Fund. These educational facilities are designed and built solidly and conveniently, serving nearly 400 students in remote mountainous areas in rural and mountainous areas in the North.

Having joined the Vietnamese market since 1995, Cargill has committed to building and handing over 100 school projects by 2020.

After realizing the initial commitment, the company set a higher target of 150 schools for Vietnam by 2030. To date, Cargill has completed 121 schools, serving more than 18,000 students/year in 57 provinces and cities.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Luan, Head Representative of Cargill Group in Vietnam, said: Celebrating the 30th anniversary of its establishment and operation in Vietnam for us is not only an opportunity to recall and appreciate the past, but also to aim to preserve and create a stronger future.
