On April 23, 2026, CMC University officially signed a cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Qinghua Postgraduate International School - a research and postgraduate training unit under Qinghua University, one of the leading universities in Asia and the world.
The signing ceremony marks an important step forward in the internationalization of education strategy of CMC University, and at the same time opens up many opportunities for extensive cooperation in training, research and development of high-quality human resources with Shenzhen Qinghua University - Qinghua University.
According to the agreement, the two sides will deploy comprehensive cooperation in many fields. The focus is on developing joint research projects in areas of mutual interest, especially technology, innovation and key industries, training AI and semiconductor human resources, and building joint research projects.
At the cooperation signing ceremony, Professor Zuo Jian'e - Vice Rector of Shenzhen Tsinghua University said that the school is currently focusing on developing key research fields according to the inter-disciplinary model, notably data science and information technology - the fields accounting for the largest proportion. These are all fields with deep cooperation potential, suitable for the training and technology research orientation of CMC University in the coming period.
Notably, CMC University will introduce excellent students to participate in training programs at Shenzhen Tsinghua University.
This is considered an opportunity for Vietnamese students to access a high-quality international academic environment, while improving competitiveness in the context of globalization. In addition, the two sides also promote short-term exchange programs such as international semesters, summer and winter exchange programs to increase international learning experiences for students.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Rector of CMC University affirmed: "Through cooperation, students and lecturers will have access to the international academic environment, and directly participate in technology problems associated with business practice. With the advantages of CMC Group, the two sides aim to develop R&D models associated with businesses, especially in AI and digital transformation".
Previously, in April 2026, leaders of CMC University visited and worked with Shenzhen Tsinghua University in China to exchange cooperation orientations and lay the foundation for this official signing.
The signing ceremony took place in the context of increasingly promoting educational and research cooperation between Vietnam and China, especially in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence and high-quality human resource training. Within the framework of the visit and working trip to Vietnam, Shenzhen Tsinghua University held meetings and cooperation with 4 universities in Hanoi, including Hanoi National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National Economics University and CMC University.
