The Department of Health of Hai Duong province has just issued a Plan to ensure medical work for the 2025-2026 High School Admissions Exam and the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. These are two important exams taking place during hot weather and with potential epidemic risks, so the requirement to ensure health and food safety is given top priority.
According to the plan, the health sector will closely coordinate with the education and training sector, exam councils and exam scores to develop a plan to organize forces, prepare enough medicine, medical supplies, human resources and necessary equipment to promptly handle situations arising during the exam and marking period.
At each exam location, the medical team will arrange staff to monitor the health of staff, teachers, and candidates and promptly handle cases with signs of fatigue, heatstroke, abnormal health reactions or suspected infectious diseases. Medical facilities in the area are also required to prepare support plans and referrals if necessary.
In addition, disease monitoring and prevention and control work is being put into a proactive state, especially for seasonal infectious diseases such as flu, hand, foot and mouth disease, dengue fever, etc. Health units need to closely monitor the epidemic situation in the locality, ensuring that there are no outbreaks in the exam area.
The Department of Health of Hai Duong province also directed to strengthen food safety and hygiene inspections in localities, especially food service establishments near the testing site. Monitoring and handling violations will be strictly implemented to prevent the risk of food poisoning, affecting the health and spirit of candidates.
